Philip
Bayfield Regional Director - Dublin Office.
Philip graduated from University of Canterbury (New Zealand) in 1984. After five years working in his home
country in irrigation, road construction and bridge maintenance he moved to the UK where he worked for several
consultants, working on a variety of projects including major highways as well as infrastructure design and
contract management for a major science park near Cambridge. He also took time out from his career to complete
an MSc in Construction Management at Loughborough University in 1993/94.
He moved to Ireland in 2000 and joined the practice as a senior engineer. He has been responsible for diverse
types of projects including housing development, mixed use developments as well as a variety of roads projects.
Significant projects include R161 to R153 Link Road in Navan, Corbally Link Road, Scotch Hall Development,
Kildare Civic Offices infrastructure, Beacon Gateway, Fr Scully House and Meadowlands Housing Development.
He was promoted to Regional Director in 2005.
Philip is chartered with both Engineers Ireland and the Institution of Civil Engineers.
