Jeremy Lamb joined MPP in 1997. Prior to that Jeremy had completed a 1 year masters in structural engineering
in Trinity College, Dublin. A period had also been spent as a site clerk for Rohcon on a telecommunications
building in Bray, County Wicklow. In 2001 Jeremy left Michael Punch & Partners and joined a building contractor
as a project manager. In 2003 with the experienced gained from working with a contractor Jeremy returned to Michael
Punch & Partners.
While working with Michael Punch & Partners Jeremy has completed projects across a number of engineering fields
including, numerous retail developments for Tesco Ireland and distribution centres for Tesco at Ballymun and Donnabate
in County Dublin. At 740,000ft2 the Tesco distribution centre at Donnabate is one of the largest in Europe. As
sustainability becomes increasingly important in design Jeremy was involved in the first Tesco Eco store in Ireland
at Tramore in County Wexford. This store was one the first stores in the world to achieve Passive House Certification.
While working on Tesco projects Jeremy has been involved in programmes to develop the costs effectiveness of the designs
and also the buildability.
Work in the educational sector has included a new Business Innovation Centre at Letterkenny Institute of Technology
including a Multi Purpose Centre on the same campus. Jeremy has also completed a number of office buildings including
Limerick County Council headquarters which has won numerous awards, Offaly County Council Headquarters and Tipperary
County Council Headquarters. Hotel projects have included the new Bewleys Hotel in Ballsbridge.
