In the new Bewleys Hotel in Ballsbridge the former Thomas Prior House was partly demolished and a new two-storey basement for car parking and services was constructed. It was necessary to retain the front and side facades while this work was going on and a continuous piled wall was used to support the excavation and allow the construction of the reinforced concrete basement.

Restoration has also figured prominently in the projects completed to date, where innovative solutions are required that had to be tailored to each location. Interesting projects completed include the Mercy International Centre in Baggot Street in Dublin where the historic nature of some of the rooms limited the access for structural upgrading. Terry was also the structural engineer on the transformation of the old Wicklow Head Lighthouse into a holiday home.
Terry and his team have recently completed the design work on the new offices for Limerick County Council at Dooradoyle in Limerick and Offaly County Council in Tullamore.
